TSUGAMI Swiss Style Sliding Heads

Tsugami HS20 / 32 Super Swissturn Automatic Lathe.
Tsugamis HS machine is available in 20 and 32mm bar capacity. Simultaneous machining with the main and sub spindles are assisted by the additional Y axis back slide achieving drastically shortened cycle times. The 24 to standard capacity is expandable to a possible 30 tools.
Tsugamis dedicated SS programming system generates programmes automatically by simply inputting geometrical data and tool data. Automatic calculation of cycle time and 3D simulation all give assistance to the user in guaranteeing efficiency.

Tsugami BS26-CE-V This swiss type machine delivers blue chip cutting capacity.
Tsugamis unique double spindle structure allows for heavy cutting forces. With the main spindle and guide bush integrated into one structure higher precision is still achieved with heavier forces. Due to the integration of the guide bush emulsion type water coolant can be used lowering the risk of oily smoke and fire. Remnant length is also reduced to minimum of 140mm + component. Tsugami BH38E Sliding Headstock, 12 Station Turret, Gang Tool Post, Back Spindle, What more could one want !
With this precision package Tsugami have encompassed the entire machining process. This 38mm capacity auto lathe caries 34 tools to take one hit machining to the next level. The unique double spindle structure allows for heavy cutting forces. With the main spindle and guide bush integrated into one structure higher precision is still achieved with heavier forces. Due to the integration of the guide bush emulsion type water coolant can be used lowering the risk of oily smoke and fire. Remnant length is also reduced to minimum of 150mm + component. The servo driven turret is indexed in 0.3 sec and mechanical shock is minimized by use of a non lift mechanism. Independent drive to the working power tool increases accuracy and lessens thermal distortion. Three path controls give the ability to numerous simultaneous operations and balanced cutting.

Tsugami TMU1E Sliding head turning with auto tool changer.
Due to the integration of the sliding headstock with a turning centre the TMU can perform precision machining on long slender parts that were difficult on conventional turning centres. Enhanced milling capacity is achieved with a tool spindle that can rotate 210 degrees in the B axis and move 110mm in the Y axis spindle giving equivalent capacity of a 5 axis machining centre. A 60 tool magazine ensures a high level of tool availability. ATC time is 0.8 seconds and turret rotation is 0.3 seconds ensuring optimized non cutting time. Once again Tsugami use the double spindle structure increasing the rigidity of the 11kw main spindle
